CSCS "GREEN" Cards on OUR programmes:

Our courses include both Health and Safety training in the Workplace and CSCS card (if successful) as part of most of our courses (see each course for details).

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.
The Scheme keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved, or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.
Most principal contractors and major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold a valid CSCS card
The award offered for Health and Safety in a construction environment is required to support you to develop your knowledge and skills and prepare you to undertake further learning or employment within construction environments. This qualification links to the achievement of the new CSCS Green Card which came into force July 2014.
You must complete and achieve the Health and Safety qualification and complete the Health, Safety and Environment Test to be able to apply for the new CSCS Green Card. The CSCS Green Card will enable employers to instantly recognise whether you have the necessary training and qualifications within this area and will support you moving into employment.
